Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it firmly into the bottom to form a solid base.
  5. Evenly sprinkle sweetened shredded coconut over the graham cracker crust.
  6. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips over the coconut layer.
  7. Follow with butterscotch chips for a rich flavor.
  8. Chop walnuts or pecans and sprinkle them over the butterscotch chips.
  9. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire layered mixture.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes.
  12. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for about 1 hour (optional).
  13. Use a sharp knife to cut into squares or rectangles.
  14. Place on a serving platter and enjoy warm or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
