- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish (optional, for extra kick)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or dill)
- Celery sticks, pickles, olives, or other garnishes (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, pour in 4 cups of tomato juice.
- Add 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, straining out any seeds.
- Pour in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
- Add 1 tablespoon of hot sauce, adjusting to your heat preference.
- Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of celery salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder.
- Finally, add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin and 1 tablespoon of prepared horseradish (if using).
- Stir the mixture thoroughly with a whisk or large spoon until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the Bloody Mary mix over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
- Garnish with a celery stick, pickles, olives, or fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
