- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz pasta (such as penne or fettuccine)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Cowboy Butter:
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, paprika, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Cook the Pasta:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the Cowboy Butter and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet with the sauce.
- Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
- Simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve:
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
- Serve the Cowboy Butter Chicken Pasta hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
