Ingredients
- – 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- – 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- – 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- – 2 tbsp olive oil
- – 4 cloves garlic, minced
- – 1 cup heavy cream
- – 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- – Salt and pepper to taste
- – Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
– Step 1: Cook the Pasta
– Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set aside.
– Step 2: Season and Sear the Steak
– Season the thinly sliced sirloin steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
– Step 3: Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
– In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
– Step 4: Combine the Ingredients
– Return the cooked steak slices to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked fettuccine pasta and toss everything together until well coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.
– Step 5: Serve and Garnish
– Divide the Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo among plates. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve hot and enjoy!
