Description

Enjoy a refreshing Frozen Peach Slush, perfect for hot days! This easy-to-make drink blends frozen peaches with lemonade and peach nectar for a delightful slushy treat. Customize it with fresh lemon juice, mint garnish, or even a splash of your favorite spirit for a fun twist!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen peaches
  • 1 cup peach nectar
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1/2 cup water (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker slush)

Instructions

  1. Gather all the ingredients listed above. Ensure that the frozen peaches are properly measured and ready to use.
  2. If using fresh peaches, peel and slice them, then freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
  3. Measure out the peach nectar, lemonade, and water. Have granulated sugar ready if you prefer a sweeter slush.
  4. Prepare fresh lemon juice by squeezing a lemon until you have about one tablespoon.
  5. In a high-speed blender, add the frozen peaches (ensure they are frozen solid if using fresh).
  6. Pour in the peach nectar, lemonade, and water, starting with 1/2 cup of water.
  7. If using granulated sugar, add it to the blender.
  8. Add the fresh lemon juice to the blender.
  9. Secure the lid tightly and start blending on low speed, gradually increasing to high speed.
  10. Blend until smooth and slushy (about 30 seconds to 1 minute).
  11. Check the consistency; add more water if too thick, blending until desired texture is reached.
  12. For a thicker slush, add a few ice cubes and blend again until smooth.
  13. Taste the slush; add more sugar if needed and blend briefly.
  14. For a more pronounced peach flavor, add more peach nectar or frozen peaches and blend again.
  15. For a tangier flavor, add a little more lemon juice.
  16. Pour the slush into chilled glasses.
  17. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of fresh peach if desired.
  18. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.
  19. Store leftover slush in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
  20. To serve leftovers, let sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften, then stir or blend again.
  21. For best results, consume fresh.
  22. Add a cup of frozen pineapple or mango for a tropical twist.
  23. For a cocktail version, add a splash of vodka or rum before blending.
  24. Experiment with different citrus juices like orange or lime for unique flavors.
