Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned ground beef mixture to the skillet.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking apart the meat as it cooks until browned and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C).
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in the shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese until well combined. Set aside.
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits total).
- On a floured surface, flatten each biscuit to about 4 inches in diameter.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the edges over the filling, pinching to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Repeat for all biscuits.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the tops of each biscuit bomb and sprinkle with remaining grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, ranch, or spicy aioli.
- Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite ingredients, such as sautéed onions or bell peppers.
