  • Author: Maria
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

Enjoy the warm, comforting flavors of fall with this Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte, made with almond milk, pumpkin puree, and a blend of spices. Perfect for chilly days, this delightful drink can be served hot or iced and topped with whipped cream for an extra treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee (strong)
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (canned or fresh)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Extra pumpkin pie spice (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg (if using). Mix until smooth and well-blended. Set aside.
  2. Brew 1/2 cup of strong coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, or espresso machine). If using a French press, steep coffee grounds in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warm (but not boiling). If you have a milk frother, froth the milk for a café-style finish.
  4. In a large mug, add the pumpkin spice mixture. Pour in the hot brewed coffee and stir well to combine. Slowly pour the warm milk into the coffee and pumpkin mixture, spooning any froth on top if desired. Stir gently.
  5. Top with whipped cream if desired, and sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon on top. Enjoy your Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more maple syrup or a splash of vanilla syrup if desired.
  • Feel free to use any milk alternative that suits your taste.
