- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and dice the potatoes into 1-inch cubes. Chop the onion finely.
- Open the can of green beans and drain the liquid. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Stir to combine.
- In a large bowl, combine diced potatoes with the beef and onion mixture. Toss gently to coat.
- Fold in the drained green beans.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil to prevent burning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Ensure potatoes are tender. If not, bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Let sit for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Scoop onto plates and enjoy!
