Description

These Keto Sausage Cheddar Biscuits are a fluffy, low-carb delight perfect for breakfast or a savory snack. Made with almond flour, cheddar cheese, and crumbled sausage, they are easy to prepare and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any low-carb milk alternative)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled breakfast sausage to the dry mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and almond milk until well combined.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a slightly sticky dough forms. Adjust with more almond milk if necessary.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of dough and place it on the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each biscuit.
  8. Gently flatten each biscuit with the palm of your hand. Optionally, sprinkle additional cheddar cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Let the biscuits cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
