  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, crack the 6 large eggs and whisk until frothy.
  3. Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the eggs and whisk until well combined.
  4. Season the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon or sausage, 1 cup of chopped fresh spinach, and 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers until evenly distributed.
  6. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before cutting into squares.
