  • Author: Maria
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This Mango Coconut Orange Vodka drink is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail perfect for summer. Combining ripe mango puree, coconut water, and freshly squeezed orange juice with a splash of vodka, it’s garnished with fresh mint and citrus slices for a delightful tropical experience. Enjoy a sip of paradise at your next gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 cup vodka (preferably a smooth, quality vodka)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by taking your ripe mango. Make sure it’s soft to the touch, which indicates it’s perfectly ripe. If it’s too firm, it might not blend well.
  2. Peel the mango using a sharp knife or a vegetable peeler. Be careful to remove all the skin, as we want only the sweet flesh.
  3. Once peeled, cut the mango into chunks. This will make it easier to blend.
  4. Place the diced mango into a blender. If you have a high-speed blender, that’s perfect, but any blender will do.
  5. Blend the mango until it’s smooth and creamy. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides to ensure everything is well blended.
  6. Once you have a smooth puree, set it aside. You can taste it at this point to see if it’s sweet enough for your liking. If it’s a bit tart, you can add a tablespoon of honey or agave syrup and blend again.
  7. In a large pitcher, combine the mango puree with the coconut water. Stir gently to mix them together.
  8. Next, add the freshly squeezed orange juice to the pitcher. Fresh oranges enhance the flavor, but store-bought juice works too.
  9. Pour in the vodka. If you prefer a stronger drink, feel free to add a bit more vodka.
  10. Stir the mixture well until all the ingredients are fully combined.
  11. Taste the mixture. If it needs more sweetness, add the honey or agave syrup and stir again.
  12. Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors.
  13. If short on time, pour the mixture into individual glasses filled with ice for quick chilling.
  14. Take your chilled pitcher out of the refrigerator and give it a gentle stir.
  15. Fill your favorite glasses with ice cubes. Large ice cubes are recommended as they melt slower.
  16. Pour the mango coconut orange vodka mixture over the ice-filled glasses, leaving a little space at the top for garnishes.
  17. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves, a slice of orange, and a slice of mango.
  18. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness of the drink by varying the amount of honey or agave syrup.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the vodka and add more coconut water or sparkling water.
  • This drink can be made in advance; just keep it chilled until serving.
