- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup tequila blanco (silver tequila)
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar (or simple syrup, adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges, for garnish
- Coarse salt or sugar, for rimming the glasses (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Mango Puree: Peel and cube the mangoes. Blend in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for an ultra-smooth puree (optional). Taste and adjust sweetness with agave nectar or simple syrup if needed.
- Prepare Glasses (Optional): If desired, rim glasses with salt or sugar. Pour salt or sugar onto a small plate. Moisten the rim of each glass with a lime wedge. Gently press the rim of the glass into the salt or sugar, rotating until evenly coated.
- Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the mango puree, tequila blanco, orange liqueur, lime juice, and agave nectar.
- Add Ice: Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
- Strain: Strain the margarita into prepared glasses filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish: Garnish with lime wedges. Optional garnishes include a mango slice or a sprig of mint.
- Serve: Serve immediately and enjoy!

- Spicy Mango Margarita: Add a few slices of jalapeño to the cocktail shaker.
