This Oreo Mud Pie features a crunchy Oreo crust layered with a creamy cream cheese filling, rich chocolate pudding, and fluffy whipped topping. It’s a decadent dessert that’s perfect for any occasion and is sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Additional crushed Oreos, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are well coated.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined and fluffy.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
  9. In another bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and thickened (about 2 minutes).
  10. Let the pudding sit for a few minutes to firm up.
  11. Once the Oreo crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  12. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
  13. Add the whipped topping on top of the chocolate pudding layer, smoothing it out.
  14. Cover the pie with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, ensuring it doesn’t touch the whipped topping.
  15. Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  16. Once chilled, remove the pie from the refrigerator and take off the cover.
  17. Slice the pie into wedges using a sharp knife (dipping the knife in warm water helps).
  18. Drizzle chocolate syrup over each slice and sprinkle additional crushed Oreos on top for garnish.
  19. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, allow the pie to chill overnight to ensure the layers set properly.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite chocolate or candy.
