Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
- Additional crushed Oreos, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until all crumbs are well coated.
- Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake the crust for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined and fluffy.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula.
- In another bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Whisk until smooth and thickened (about 2 minutes).
- Let the pudding sit for a few minutes to firm up.
- Once the Oreo crust has cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.
- Add the whipped topping on top of the chocolate pudding layer, smoothing it out.
- Cover the pie with plastic wrap or aluminum foil, ensuring it doesnt touch the whipped topping.
- Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
- Once chilled, remove the pie from the refrigerator and take off the cover.
- Slice the pie into wedges using a sharp knife (dipping the knife in warm water helps).
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over each slice and sprinkle additional crushed Oreos on top for garnish.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For best results, allow the pie to chill overnight to ensure the layers set properly.
- Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite chocolate or candy.
