Philly Cheesesteak Sliders: A Delicious Twist on a Classic Favorite

  • Author: Maria
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

– Step 1: Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

– Step 2: Sauté the Peppers and Onions

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper and onion. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

– Step 3: Assemble the Sliders

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish. Top each bun with a portion of the cooked steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and a slice of provolone cheese. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.

– Step 4: Bake the Sliders

Brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.

– Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

Remove the sliders from the oven and serve hot. These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders are perfect for parties, gatherings, or a fun family dinner. Enjoy!
