- 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of ground ginger (optional)
- Ice cubes (if needed)
- Optional toppings: shredded coconut, chia seeds, a pineapple wedge
Instructions
- Gather Ingredients: Make sure all ingredients are ready.
- Combine: Add frozen banana, frozen pineapple, Greek yogurt, milk, orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and ground ginger (if using) to the blender.
- Blend: Close the lid and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy (1-2 minutes). Add more milk or orange juice if too thick, or ice cubes if too thin.
- Check & Adjust: Check consistency and taste. Adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup, or add lemon/lime juice for tanginess. Add more frozen fruit/ice for thickness, or more liquid for thinness.
- Pour: Carefully pour the smoothie into a glass.
- Top (Optional): Add your favorite toppings like shredded coconut, chia seeds, or a pineapple wedge.
- Serve: Serve immediately. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, stir before serving.
