Description
Enjoy a creamy and refreshing Mocha Frappuccino made with rich coffee, chocolate syrup, and ice, perfect for a hot day or a sweet pick-me-up!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1 cup of milk (whole, skim, or your choice of non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup of sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 cups of ice
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Coffee Base: Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool to room temperature. Set aside 1 cup of cooled coffee.
- Make the Chocolate Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the cooled coffee with 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup. Stir until fully incorporated. Add 1/4 cup of sugar and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Prepare the Milk: In a separate container, pour in 1 cup of milk (whole, skim, or non-dairy). Combine it with the coffee and chocolate mixture, stirring gently.
- Blend the Frappuccino: In a blender, add the mocha mixture and 2 cups of ice. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add a splash more milk and blend again.
- Assemble the Mocha Frappuccino: Pour the blended frappuccino into a tall glass, filling it about three-quarters full. Top generously with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Optionally, sprinkle chocolate shavings or cocoa powder on top.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately with a straw or long spoon. If you have leftovers, store in the fridge and stir before drinking.
Notes
- Customize your frappuccino by adding a shot of espresso for extra caffeine or a splash of vanilla extract for a different flavor.
- For a minty twist, add a few drops of peppermint extract.
- For a healthier version, substitute sugar with honey or agave syrup and use unsweetened cocoa powder.
